Welcome Back
The Geek Out tradition continues! YHPL Geek Out 2 is your home gaming convention — a full day carved out of ordinary life and devoted entirely to playing games with your neighbors, your friends, and a few new faces.
Whether you're a lifelong dungeon-delver, a board game enthusiast, or someone who's always wanted to try a tabletop RPG, this is your day. No experience required. No cost required. Just show up ready to play.

The Lineup
Open gaming all day with friendly volunteers ready to teach. Bring your favorites or discover something new — we have the table space for the long ones.
Volunteer game masters running scheduled adventures throughout the day. Sign up in advance on tabletop.events to secure your seat at the table.
An original escape room designed by one of YHPL's own librarians. Puzzle your way out — if you can. Advance registration recommended.
Hosted by the talented crew at Carcosa Creations. Step into the story and make it real. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm.
An all-day competition to free as many chickens as possible. The reigning champion is stepping down — the throne is up for grabs. Prize for the winner!
Games and activities programmed just for younger players with their caregivers. Families are welcome throughout the open gaming floor all day long.
Food and ice cream trucks on site during the afternoon, courtesy of the Friends of YHPL. Snacks available for purchase — because gaming works up an appetite.

Attending YHPL Geek Out 2 is completely free. Registration is required — choose whichever method works best for you. Walk-ins welcome on the day unless we reach capacity.
Highly Encouraged — especially for RPG events with limited seats.
